Description


The Hafco Metalmaster PB-420 is a manual box and pan brake designed for folding sheet metal up to 2mm mild steel across a 1,250mm width. The segmented top clamping fingers can be individually removed and rearranged to allow box and pan forming, not just straight folds. This makes it significantly more versatile than a standard straight folder. Heavy-duty steel fabricated construction with adjustable clamping pressure ensures consistent bends across the full width. New PB-420 units retail for approximately $3,399 to $3,795 from Hare and Forbes.


From the photos, this March 2008 unit presents in fair to good condition. The blue paint is largely intact with typical workshop scuffs and chips. The segmented clamping fingers show surface rust and grime but appear structurally sound with all segments present. The bending apron and operating lever appear functional. The heavy-duty fabricated stand with splayed legs provides stable operation. Clamping handwheels on both ends are present for pressure adjustment.
