Oil on canvas painting depicting a team of four horses pulling a loaded stagecoach through a shallow creek crossing. A driver is visible seated atop the coach. The background features a flat-topped mountain range with rolling green hills and scattered trees under a cloudy sky. The palette is predominantly earthy tones of ochre, dusty pink and soft greens with blue sky visible through cloud cover.

The painting is signed in the lower left of the canvas. The signature reads "G.IVE. AFTER. RESCHIN." indicating this is a work painted by G. Ive after an original composition by another artist.

Presented in an ornate gilt frame with decorative acanthus-style scrollwork at each corner and a cream fabric inner liner.

Condition Notes
The canvas surface shows visible brushwork texture consistent with oil painting. Some minor cracking is visible in the paint surface in the upper sky area. The gilt frame shows wear and loss to the gilding in several areas, with underlying material visible, particularly along the upper rail and at the corner ornaments. Small chips and losses are present in the frame moulding.
