SCM SI 3800 Panel Saw - 3 Phase 415V - Sliding Table - Digital Control Panel
Overview
SCM SI 3800 sliding table panel saw, made in Italy. The machine is fitted with a long sliding table with aluminium extrusion rails, a rip fence, a scoring blade unit and an overhead blade guard with dust extraction port and flexible hose. The data plate reads 415V, 3 phase, 50 Hz, 17.8 amps and approximately 1,340 kg.
The saw features a digital SCM control panel with numeric keypad, programmable functions (PROG, EX, MAN, STOP, ESC) and a red digital display, mounted on a swivel arm at the operator end. A separate control panel on the front of the machine body includes blade speed selector dials, start and stop buttons and an emergency stop mushroom button. An isolator switch with a high-voltage warning label is fitted on the left side of the cabinet. The overhead dust extraction hood is connected by a large-diameter flexible hose.
Condition
The cast iron main table top and sliding table show surface rust across the working surfaces. The body panels are finished in green paint with general wear, scuffing and marks consistent with workshop use. The aluminium sliding table rails show surface oxidation and wear marks. The digital control panel lens has scratches across its face. The blade guard and extraction hood are intact. The machine is sitting on timber packing pieces at the base.
The rip fence rail and fence body are present. The blade slot insert is visible in the main table. A scoring blade assembly appears to be fitted beneath the main table.
