Overview

A Large-Scale Geometric Abstract Composition Dominated By Multi-Layered Chevron, Zig-Zag And Angular Patterns Rendered In A Palette Of Terracotta Orange, Deep Red-Ochre, Black And White Across A Dark Ground. Spiral Motifs With Dotted Patterning Appear At The Lower Left And Upper Right Areas Of The Canvas, Providing A Counterpoint To The Sharp Angular Forms That Dominate The Composition. The Work Is Presented In A Slim Dark Timber Frame.

Provenance

Vendor Advises The Work Was Acquired In 1996 From The Terrigal Art Gallery, Nsw, Via Art Dealer Rick Macleski. The Accompanying Statement Of Provenance And Ownership Document States The Work Was Held In Retail Inventory And Managed Directly Under The Stewardship Of The Dealer Prior To The Gallery'S Permanent Closure. Private Collection, Gold Coast, Queensland Since Mid-1996.
