2003 Ally Craft 410 Scout Runabout - Yamaha 30 HP Outboard - Mayfair Trailer

Overview

2003 Ally Craft 410 Scout aluminium runabout measuring 4.1 metres in length, powered by a Yamaha 30 HP outboard motor and presented on a 1999 Mayfair single-axle galvanised roller trailer. The lot includes assorted fishing rods and reels, tackle boxes, a Cool-Ice esky and sundry items visible in the cockpit.

Hull

Aluminium construction with a white painted finish. The Australian Builder's Plate on the transom interior identifies the builder as Alloy and Stainless Marine Pty Ltd, model 410 Scout, with a maximum outboard rating of 40 HP, maximum persons of 4 (300 kg), maximum load of 495 kg and basic flotation buoyancy. The hull topsides show paint chipping and wear along the bow and gunwales. The rub rail shows scuffing along the port and starboard sides. Blue and teal hull decals reading "4.10 Scout" and the Ally Craft marlin logo are visible on both sides. A bow rail is fitted with paint chipping visible. The transom carries a boarding platform with a grab rail on each side. Recessed cup holders are moulded into the port and starboard gunwale tops. A stamped plate on the bow reads "??2?6?" and is partially obscured.

Motor

Yamaha outboard with "30" horsepower decal on the cowling. The cowling is dark grey with the Yamaha branding and red accent stripe. The lower unit and skeg appear intact. A three-blade aluminium propeller is fitted and appears to be in serviceable condition with minor wear visible. Steering and throttle cables run from the helm to the motor. Engine hours are not displayed on a visible hour meter.

Electronics and Deck

A Lowrance sounder or chartplotter unit is fitted on the console roof with a protective sun cover in place. The helm features a grey three-spoke steering wheel. The dash panel has a glove box compartment, two cup holders and a fuel filler cap on the port side. The starboard side of the dash panel has empty circular gauge cutouts where instruments have been removed, and a four-position rocker switch panel is fitted to the right of the steering column. Rust staining is visible on the starboard dash panel adjacent to the windscreen frame. The windscreen is a full wrap-around type with folding centre panels, and the tint has discoloured to a purple hue. Two swivel pedestal seats with white and blue upholstery are fitted at the helm, with scuffing and wear on the seat tops. Blue marine carpet covers the cockpit floor. A flush-mounted deck hatch is visible in the aft cockpit floor. A second flush-mounted hatch is visible further forward. Rod storage appears to run along the port gunwale interior.

The compliance plate on the drawbar states an ATM of 740 kg, tare of 220 kg, date of manufacture 10.99, tyre size 165-13 8P, rim profile 13x5 JJ and recommended cold tyre pressure of 420 kPa. The frame is galvanised with corrosion visible on the coupling, jockey wheel base and winch post base. A manual winch with chain is fitted at the bow. The jockey wheel is a swivel type.
