This lot comprises assorted timber furniture pieces as visible in the photographs.

Lot Contents

* Chinese-style horseshoe-back armchair in dark-stained timber with carved apron detail and traces of red lacquer and painted decoration on the stretchers and seat rails. The timber shows age-related patina, surface wear and finish loss across the arms, backrest and seat.

* Timber lectern or music stand on a stepped pedestal base. Dark-stained timber with surface wear, scratches and finish fading visible on the flat top surface.

* Carved timber and glass-insert coffee table in a cabriole-leg style with carved apron detail. The frame is a warm brown timber with a serpentine-shaped edge. Three glass panel inserts are fitted into the top. Surface scratches and wear visible on the timber frame and legs.

* Four-drawer timber filing cabinet or card catalogue unit with cup-pull handles and label holders on each drawer front. Warm honey-toned timber with surface marks, scratches and minor chips visible on the edges and drawer fronts.

* Rustic timber trunk or chest with metal strap hinges and a keyhole escutcheon on the front face. The timber shows heavy age-related patina, surface wear, staining and darkened finish. Metal hardware shows oxidation.

Condition Notes

All pieces are in used condition with varying degrees of age-related wear. The Chinese armchair shows significant finish loss, surface wear and traces of original lacquer and painted decoration. The lectern shows surface scratches and finish fading on the top. The coffee table frame has surface scratches and wear on the legs and carved apron. The filing cabinet has surface marks, scratches and minor edge chips. The timber trunk shows heavy patina, surface staining, darkened finish and oxidised metal hardware. All items are structurally intact as visible in the photographs.
