Overview

1984 Bobcat 743 skid steer loader on rubber tyres with an enclosed cabin. Powered by a Kubota V1702-BA 4-cylinder diesel engine rated at 36 HP. The hour meter reads 62,358 hours. The data plate on the machine reads Clark Bobcat, Model 743, manufactured by Melroe, Division of Clark Equipment Co.

A bucket is fitted to the loader arms. The cabin is an enclosed ROPS structure with mesh guarding on the sides and rear, a rear glass window, and two work lights mounted on the top of the ROPS frame. A key is present.

Condition

The body panels are white with blue stripe decals and a red rear engine cover. The white paintwork shows chipping, scuffing and surface rust in multiple areas, particularly on the boom arms, around the loader frame mounting points and along the lower body panels. The red rear engine cover shows paint fading and scuffing. The "CLARK 743" and "bobcat" decals are legible on both sides of the machine.

The operator seat is extensively deteriorated with the vinyl torn across the backrest and seat base, exposing the foam padding beneath. The cabin floor area shows accumulated dirt and debris. The foot pedals and hand control levers are in place. The dash panel features a Clark electronic hour meter, a Clark voltmeter, a Clark fuel gauge and a Clark temperature gauge. The bucket shows heavy surface rust on the cutting edge and teeth, with dirt and material build-up. The tyres are 10-16.5 NHS size on red steel rims. The front tyres show moderate tread remaining with some sidewall wear. The rear tyres retain deeper tread. The engine bay shows a layer of dirt and grime over the engine and surrounding components. Hydraulic hoses at the loader arm pivot points show dirt accumulation and general wear.
