Overview

Stainless steel plate heat exchanger stamped SGS M+I with serial number SC19496. The unit comprises two stainless steel end plates held together by threaded tie rods with nuts, with a corrugated plate pack visible between the end plates. Two stainless steel inlet/outlet ports with hexagonal nuts are fitted to the top end plate, and two circular port openings are visible on the bottom end plate. A lifting eye bolt is fitted to one end plate. A vertical stainless steel post with a mounting bracket is also attached.

Condition Notes

The unit is in used condition. Surface staining and discolouration are visible across both end plates. Light surface rust marks are present around the two circular port openings on the bottom end plate. The corrugated plate pack visible between the end plates appears intact. The stainless steel inlet/outlet ports and fittings show light wear. Threaded tie rods show oxidation along their length. The unit has not been tested.
