Engine - Read This Carefully
V6 MerCruiser petrol inboard engine with Alpha stern drive leg. The engine is currently in a partial state of disassembly. Water entered the cylinders, causing significant internal damage. The top end of the engine is not serviceable in its current state. One cylinder head is missing. Inlet manifolds and exhaust manifolds are missing. The short motor block, stern drive Alpha leg, and associated components remain with the vessel. A V6 MerCruiser 4.3L long motor from a reputable remanufacturer costs approximately $3,000 to $5,000. A rebuilt short motor plus head and manifold set from a marine engine specialist is in a similar range. This is a project for a competent home mechanic or someone with access to a marine engine builder.
