Overview
This 2000 Beneteau Oceanis 411 is a beautifully presented and extensively equipped family cruising yacht located in Exmouth, Western Australia. Designed by Jean Marie Finot and built by Beneteau France, the Oceanis 411 is a substantial 40'4" cruising yacht offering three cabins, generous accommodation, a fully equipped galley and comprehensive cruising equipment.
The vendor advises this vessel is in immaculate condition and has been lovingly refurbished and maintained, presenting as an exceptional example of the popular Oceanis 411 design. With three double cabins, additional sleeping accommodation in the saloon, two toilets, two internal showers and extensive onboard systems, the yacht has been equipped with extended cruising and liveaboard use in mind.
A considerable program of maintenance and refurbishment has been undertaken in recent years. Stainless steel rigging was replaced in December 2022, while the hot water system, shower drain pumps and forward toilet were also replaced during 2022. The fridge was replaced in 2022, along with the house and starting batteries in August of that year. The headsail was replaced in May 2023, while all deck hatches were fully reconditioned with new glass and the port lights replaced in 2024.
A new mast lowering system has also been fitted, further adding to the vessel's extensive cruising specification.
Hull and Construction
The Oceanis 411 features fibreglass/GRP hull construction with teak over fibreglass decking. Overall length is approximately 12.30 metres (40'4") with a 4.0-metre beam and 1.45-metre draft.
The vessel has an approximate displacement of 7,800kg and is fitted with a 2,495kg iron bulb fin keel in the shallow-draft configuration.
Engine and Propulsion
Power is provided by a Yanmar 4JH3E 55HP diesel engine driving through an inboard shaft drive to the propeller. Engine hours were recorded at 4,947 hours as at March 2026.
The vessel has a stated cruising speed of approximately 6 knots under motor and carries approximately 150 litres of diesel fuel.
Accommodation
The interior provides extensive accommodation suitable for family cruising and extended stays aboard. Three separate cabins each provide a double berth, with an additional double berth available within the saloon.
