Description
The Holden VR Caprice was the full-size flagship of the Holden range, sitting well above the Commodore line and delivering genuine executive luxury in an Australian-built package. This generation brought the LB9 5.0-litre V8 paired with four-speed automatic transmission, independent rear suspension and a level of interior refinement that put it in company with imported luxury sedans of the era. The build plate confirms LB9 V8, M30 automatic, built July 1994 at the Elizabeth plant.
The white exterior retains reasonable gloss across the main panels and the body is straight. The boot lid base and aperture surround show rust staining that will need attention, and there is surface rust evident at the lower door sill areas. One tyre was flat at the time of photography. The car has been lowered from standard ride height. Inside, the VR Caprice's full luxury specification is on display.
