Item Description


A curated collection of three exceptional raw mineral specimens featuring pink tourmaline (rubellite variety) and quartz formations. This lot comprises naturally occurring crystalline specimens displaying the characteristic pink to pale rose coloration typical of high-quality tourmaline deposits.




Specimen Details


Specimen 1 (Top): Large pink tourmaline cluster with prominent prismatic crystals. Pale pink to translucent white coloration with well-defined terminations. 22cm x 14cm x 9cm. 1.54Kg




Specimen 2 (Bottom Left): Pink tourmaline in matrix. Rough-hewn specimen with embedded tourmaline crystals in host rock. Pale to medium pink coloration with visible crystal faces. 14cm x 7cm x 8cm. 0.75Kg




Specimen 3 (Bottom Right): Pink tourmaline specimen with mixed mineralisation. Columnar crystal structure with pale pink to lavender tones. 12cm x 9cm x 12cm. 0.7kg

Primary mineral: Pink tourmaline (elbaite variety, likely rubellite-type based on coloration)


Secondary minerals: Quartz, feldspar matrix


Crystal system: Trigonal (tourmaline); Trigonal (quartz)


Hardness: 7-7.5 Mohs (tourmaline); 7 Mohs (quartz)




Condition


All specimens are in natural, unpolished condition as collected. No artificial treatment or enhancement applied. Minor surface dust and natural weathering present. No significant fractures or damage observed. All specimens display natural crystal terminations and faces.




Provenance


Field-collected raw mineral specimens. Origin consistent with tourmaline-bearing pegmatite deposits. Specimens represent typical examples of pink tourmaline mineralisation found in primary deposits.
