Detailed Description
This lot comprises four vintage wooden instrument cases in varying conditions, typical of early-to-mid 20th century manufacture. The cases feature traditional construction with solid timber bodies and decorative inlaid geometric patterns running along the centre of each lid. The exterior displays a rich, aged dark finish consistent with period hardwood cases.

Two cases retain their original green baize interior lining in serviceable condition. The remaining cases show wear to the lining consistent with age and use. All cases feature functional brass or metal hardware including clasps and hinges, though some show oxidation and patina appropriate to their age.

The decorative inlay work is clearly visible on the primary case, featuring geometric diamond and chevron patterns in contrasting timber. This level of craftsmanship is characteristic of quality instrument cases from the early 20th century.

Condition Notes
These are vintage cases showing honest age and use. The exterior timber shows surface marks, minor dents, and the patina of decades of storage and handling. The interior linings show wear, staining, and age-appropriate deterioration. All cases remain structurally sound and functional as display pieces or for storage of instruments.
