Description
This is a hand-crafted double bass constructed by luthier Josef Ian Dvorák in 2023. The instrument combines the tonal characteristics of both the violin and gambas families, making it suitable for modern orchestral use. The lower pitched bowed design allows it to produce the rich, resonant tones characteristic of professional-grade string instruments.

Construction & Materials
The body features a warm amber-orange finish with a traditional spruce top and maple back and sides. The instrument displays excellent craftsmanship with properly fitted f-holes and a solid bridge assembly. The scroll and pegbox are finished in a complementary dark wood tone.

Condition Notes
This is a used instrument showing signs of regular playing and workshop use. Minor surface marks and light wear are visible on the body consistent with active use.
