Description
This is a traditional Indian sitar featuring a richly figured rosewood body with ornate brass inlay work and decorative carving. The instrument displays the characteristic pear-shaped resonating chamber typical of classical sitars, with a long wooden neck (dandi) fitted with multiple brass frets arranged in the traditional curved pattern for microtonal playing.
