Product Details
Galmet Rustpaint is a professional-grade epoxy enamel coating specifically formulated for metal protection and corrosion prevention. The clear tint base allows for custom colour matching whilst providing superior adhesion to both new and previously oxidised steel surfaces.

Application Instructions (from label)
Surface Preparation: Thorough sanding of the surface is desirable. Grease and oil should be removed using a solvent or cleaning solution. Steel previously exposed to salt water should be thoroughly rinsed with fresh water and a suitable solvent used.

Priming - Steel: No primer required on steel in mild conditions or interior exposure. For maximum protection on steel, prime cleaned steel with Galmet Keytite Etch Primer. If rust is difficult to remove, ironise then prime with Galmet Keytite Ironise.

Non-Ferrous: Galvanised iron and other zinc-coated surfaces should be primed with Galmet Keytite Etch Primer. Consult Galmet Rustpaint technical data for other metals.

Condition Notes
Partial contents remaining in original tin. Lid intact. Tin shows age-related wear and minor surface oxidation consistent with storage. Product appears usable but has not been tested. Suitable for tradies, renovators, and industrial applications requiring reliable rust protection on metal substrates.
