Vintage Vulcan Conray electric heater, circa mid-20th century. Features a distinctive Art Deco-inspired design with dual curved reflective panels and central ribbed grille element. The unit comprises a black Bakelite or cast resin top housing with ventilation slots, stacked horizontal chrome or aluminium reflector plates, and curved side panels with vertical ribbing for heat distribution. Includes original fabric-covered power cord with Bakelite plug connector. The heater operates on a two-bar radiant heating system, typical of 1940s-1950s domestic appliances. Marked "Vulcan Conray" on the base. Shows patina consistent with age; reflective surfaces retain good lustre despite surface oxidation on metal components. Functional condition requires electrical safety inspection before use.
