Overview
Haines Hunter V188 fibreglass runabout with a Mercury 115 horsepower four stroke outboard motor, on a Dunbier galvanised roller trailer. The hull is finished in blue with a white deck and gunwales. The boat is fitted with a bimini top on a rocket launcher rod holder frame, a Lowrance HDS 7 sounder and chartplotter, and a GME VHF radio at the helm.
Hull
Fibreglass construction finished in blue below the rub rail and white above. The Haines Hunter V188 badge is visible on the port and starboard sides of the hull near the transom (photo 4, photo 5). The gelcoat is intact with general weathering and light scuffing along the rub rail on both sides. The transom shows a Mercury Go Power sticker on the port side (photo 17). A boarding platform is fitted to the port side of the transom with a stainless steel grab rail; the platform surface shows delamination and edge damage with exposed timber substrate (photo 18). The bow eye and anchor roller are fitted at the bow. The hull sides show waterline staining in places.
Motor
Mercury four stroke outboard with 115 horsepower decal on the cowling (photo 37). The cowling carries Mercury and FourStroke branding (photo 36). The lower unit and gearcase are black with a stainless steel propeller fitted, marked 14 x 23 with a 2.07:1 gear ratio (photo 35). The cowling is in good condition with light surface marks. A single-lever Mercury control box with trim switch is fitted at the starboard helm (photo 30). Mercury-branded speedometer and tachometer gauges are fitted at the dash, along with trim and temperature gauges (photo 32, photo 31). A battery switch with Off, 1 and 2 positions is fitted in the transom area (photo 25). Two batteries are installed in the transom well (photo 22, photo 23).
Electronics and Deck
A Lowrance HDS 7 combination sounder and chartplotter is bracket-mounted at the port side of the dash (photo 33). A GME VHF radio is flush-mounted in the dash below the steering wheel (photo 34). The helm features a three-spoke steering wheel, ignition switch, and the Mercury gauge cluster. Two swivel pedestal seats are fitted in the cockpit, upholstered in white and blue vinyl (photo 28, photo 29). The cockpit sole is fitted with rubber matting. A bimini top with black canvas is supported by a stainless steel rocket launcher frame with rod holders across the top (photo 26, photo 27). Clear plastic side and rear clears are fitted. A stainless steel rod holder is fitted to the starboard transom quarter (photo 17). A fish measuring ruler sticker is affixed to the transom bulkhead (photo 21). A Haines Hunter badge is visible on the dash moulding (photo 35 area). A glove box recess on the port side of the dash contains rope and a yellow item that appears to be a Dolphin-branded torch or similar (photo 35 area). Flare packaging is visible in the glove box area (photo 35). A curved windscreen with stainless steel frame is fitted.
Trailer
Dunbier galvanised roller trailer. The compliance plate reads Dunbier Marine Products P/L, 136-164 Boundary Rd, Braeside, Vic, 3195 (photo 38). The plate states a GTM of 1179 kg and an ATM of 1186 kg. The trailer model field on the plate appears to read G?S. The trailer is fitted with a Knott override coupling and Knott jockey wheel (photo 10, photo 11). A Dunbier manual winch with bow roller is fitted at the front (photo 12). The frame is galvanised with multiple roller assemblies supporting the hull (photo 14, photo 15, photo 19, photo 20). Single axle with plastic mudguards and checkerplate step plates. Tyres show remaining tread with rust staining on the wheel hub nuts (photo 16, photo 19). Combination tail lights are fitted. A yellow sticker reads Boat Trailer User's Guide Attached (photo 13, photo 38). Safety chain is fitted at the coupling.
