The 1970 911T sits in the golden era of the long-bonnet 911, a shape that defined Porsche for a generation and remains one of the most recognisable silhouettes in motoring. This particular car has been transformed into a meticulous tribute to the Porsche 911S that Steve McQueen drove as Michael Delaney in "Le Mans," the 1971 film that cemented both McQueen and Porsche in motorsport folklore. It carries the correct race number 22 on the rear window, period-correct "24 Heures 70" and "Porsche Marken-Weltmeister 1969" windscreen decals, and 911S badging to replicate the movie car's appearance. The VIN 9111100882 confirms this is a genuine 911T, which is clearly disclosed.



Finished in its factory colour, Slate Grey (paint code 6601, confirmed by the original "Made in Western Germany" paint code plate), the exterior presents in exceptional condition. Under the rear engine lid, the air-cooled 2.2-litre flat-six runs twin carburettors with brass linkage and has been upgraded with an MSD Digital 6A ignition system (PN 6201). The engine bay is clean and well-detailed with red-painted fan shroud and engine tins. Original Porsche information stickers for tyre pressures, valve clearance, and oil capacity remain on the engine lid underside. An Antigravity lithium battery is fitted in the front boot alongside a relay panel.
