Poplar, carved, reproduction Baronial style high backed Throne Chair. With serpentine shaped seat panel of tapering design with rattan caned centre. Also double rattan caned back panel flanked by two turned carved posts with spear point finial tops. Large armorial pediment surmounting depicting a coronet top flanked by acanthus leaves and a shield. Fretted and carved festoons to either side of the rattan caned panel. Cabriole shaped front legs terminating in lion paw feet with carvings above to lion masks heading the serpentine armrests. A second carved armorial shield to the stretcher rail.
