<b>Condition:</b> COA describes condition as "excellent" at 2009 authentication. No visible foxing, tears, or damage apparent from current photographs. Print impression appears clean and strong with good contrast.<br>

"El Cid" depicts the legendary Castilian hero Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar - a medieval knight in full armour on horseback, lance extended and shield bearing a cross motif, against a background of radiating lines suggesting sky and open landscape. Dali's characteristic draftsmanship is visible in the spindly horse legs and the dynamic, expressionistic energy of the composition. An apparent mark or signature is visible in the upper left of the plate. The COA from Independent Auctioneers (NSW) confirms attribution to Dali. Buyers are encouraged to conduct independent research.<br>
