<b>Description</b><br>
One of the most symbolically layered works in the ISHISHI collection. The composition centres on flowing S-curved and serpentine ribbon forms, with a diverse symbolic inventory arranged around them: a small church or house with a blue tiled roof and a cross at upper right, flame-like forms in pinks and reds along the right edge, botanical and leaf elements in soft pastels along the upper and left sides, a bird figure rendered in pink, blue and dark tones at left, mushroom forms at upper left, and a Star of David geometric form prominent in the upper centre.<br><br>
The inclusion of religious and spiritual symbols (cross, Star of David) alongside natural and organic forms gives this work a more contemplative, spiritual quality than the purely architectural pieces. The palette is softer than Lot 326: greys, pinks, soft blues, peach and muted pastels. The verso has a "2016" notation and possible dark marks at the top edge. Signed "ISHISHI" at lower right.<br><br>
