Overview

This Green PTY Ltd dual axle plant and equipment trailer is built for operators who need serious payload capacity in a galvanised, low-maintenance package. The compliance plate confirms a 1,120kg tare weight and 4,480kg ATM, delivering approximately 3,360kg of payload for transporting mini excavators, skid steers, compact track loaders, ride-on mowers, and similar plant equipment. The hot-dip galvanised steel construction covers the full chassis, A-frame drawbar, tray rails, and hardware. The deck measures 4,950mm x 1,780mm internally with a galvanised checker plate floor for maximum grip underfoot and durability against heavy tracked and wheeled equipment.



Loading is handled via twin folding mesh ramps, each 1,820mm long by 600mm wide, hinged at the rear of the deck. The ramps deploy independently and are constructed from galvanised expanded mesh with flat-bar reinforcing for strength under tracked equipment. A manual hand winch with webbing strap is mounted on the front upright post for loading immobile plant. The overall trailer length is approximately 7,500mm and width approximately 2,450mm. At this ATM rating, four-wheel electric drum brakes are fitted on both axles, wired via a standard 7-pin flat plug. A "Break-Away Systems" breakaway battery and controller unit is fitted to the drawbar as required.



The drawbar is fabricated from heavy 100x50x3mm RHS in an A-frame configuration, fitted with a 70mm ball coupling. Note: this trailer requires a tow vehicle equipped with a 70mm tow ball - standard 50mm ball vehicles are not compatible. Rocker roller (slipper spring) leaf spring suspension is fitted to both axles. Tie-down D-rings are spaced along both side rails at multiple intervals. A swivel jockey wheel and a separate drop-leg jack stand are both fitted on the drawbar. Safety chains rated for the ATM are fitted. LED combination rear lights and amber side marker lights are fitted. The galvanised finish is bright and consistent with no bare spots. Compliance plate confirms manufacture under the Motor Vehicle Standards Act 1989. Vendor advises manufacture date as shown on compliance plate (August 2025).
