Overview

A 14ct white gold dress ring centred on a 1.97ct emerald-cut ruby in medium-dark purplish-red, four-claw set and surrounded by a halo of 42 round single-cut diamonds (0.32ct total, H-J colour, SI1-I1). Diamond-set shoulders continue down both sides of the slim polished half-round band. The open-work basket gallery beneath the setting features geometric cutout panels allowing light to reach the ruby's pavilion. The ring is a delicate, light construction with a total weight of 2.89g.



As noted above, the valuation certificate records the ruby as colour/clarity enhanced. Minor inclusions are visible and a surface fracture line was noted in photo review.
