Overview

A pearl strand necklace combining three large black cultured Tahitian pearls (15.6-16mm) and 34 white cultured South Sea pearls (9.8-12mm), all individually knotted on silk, the construction standard for quality pearl strands. The three Tahitian pearls are positioned symmetrically in the front-centre section, creating focal points of contrast against the surrounding white South Sea material. The 14K yellow gold filigree ball clasp with ornate scroll and curl openwork, set with four round brilliant diamonds, is a jewellery detail in its own right.
