The ZX135USLC-5B is Hitachi's zero tail swing offering in the 13.5-tonne class. Isuzu AU-4HK1X engine producing 69.9 kW (93.7 hp) with an operating weight around 14,200 kg and a max dig depth of approximately 5,400 mm. The zero tail swing configuration means the upper house stays within the track width during slew, which is why every contractor working near traffic, buildings, or services runs one. Tier 1 specification means no DPF, no SCR, no DEF. Simpler servicing, no regen headaches, and preferred spec for remote and mining sites across Australia.
This machine comes fully kitted for civil and mining support work. FOPS ISO 10262 Level II top guard, hydraulic emergency stop, dual beacons (green and amber), UHF radio with GME handpiece, auto-lube system with reservoir, GPS/telemetry with SATEL modem, and rear-view camera active on the Hitachi monitor. The cab is in good condition with the Hitachi suspension seat intact, all glass uncracked, and the monitor running ECO mode with no fault codes at audit. Air conditioning fitted. A hydraulic tilt hitch is fitted (S/N A20004893, rated 5,000 kg SWL, dated May 2021) along with a digging bucket, pallet forks, and a mud/batter bucket. Undercarriage runs Berco 771 SV chains on HITEC sprockets with wide steel triple-grouser pads. Heavy surface rust throughout but no structural damage or broken links. Boom and stick are clean with no visible cracks, cylinder chrome rods showing no scoring. A set of Bridgestone bolt-on rubber track pads is included on a pallet. Vendor advises these are spare roadliners. Condition is heavily worn and buyers should inspect before relying on these as serviceable spares.
