Description
The Hitachi ZX360LC-5B is the benchmark 36 tonne excavator for large-scale civil earthworks, road construction, bulk excavation, and infrastructure projects across Australia. Powered by the Isuzu AH-6WG1 engine producing 205kW (275HP), it delivers the dig force and swing torque needed for loading trucks, mass excavation, and heavy-duty production work. The HIOS IV hydraulic system provides smooth, precise control with fuel efficiency that keeps operating costs in check.
This machine is Tier 1 specification. On a 36 tonne excavator, this is particularly significant. The larger 6-cylinder engine in a Tier 4 equivalent runs DPF, SCR, and DEF systems that add complexity, maintenance cost, and potential downtime. A Tier 1 ZX360LC-5B avoids all of this.
