Description

A second example of the 2003 Australian "Making a Difference" volunteer commemorative $1 coin, same type and design as the companion lot. The obverse carries the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Elizabeth II with "ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA 2003" and the reverse the coloured Australia's Volunteers arrow/tick logo in yellow and teal with "MAKING A DIFFERENCE" and "1 DOLLAR."



This example is housed in a round clear capsule and grades About Uncirculated. It shows slightly more surface marks, light toning, and minor field imperfections compared to the uncirculated example, with a small spot of discolouration visible on the reverse. The coloured enamel is intact. Suitable for the collector after a budget example or a second copy of this popular issue.
