Description

The 1983 Royal Australian Mint Annual Proof Coin Set in original presentation packaging. This is a standard annual issue - no special commemorative theme for this year - with the six decimal denominations (1c through 50c) struck to proof standard. The 1983 set is identified by its distinctive royal blue backing card inside the acrylic holder.



All six coins appear in excellent proof condition with deep mirror-like fields and well-defined frosted relief. The cupro-nickel coins are bright and clean with no visible toning or milk spots. The bronze 1c and 2c display a rich, warm copper tone with no oxidation. Photographically, the coin surfaces appear near pristine.



The foam case is clean and in very good to excellent condition. The acrylic holder is intact and clear. The specification panel in the lid lists weight and dimension details for all denominations.
