Description
The HX300L is Hyundai's 30-tonne class excavator and the machine that has been steadily taking market share from the Japanese brands in Australia. Powered by a Cummins B6.7 engine producing 202 kW (271 hp) with an operating weight of approximately 30,500 kg, max dig depth of 6,730 mm, and a standard bucket capacity of 1.28 cubic metres. Tier 1 specification means no DPF, no SCR, no DEF, which remains the preferred spec for the Australian market. Cummins power means parts and service support nationwide.
This unit presents well. Upper structure and body panels are in good shape with no significant damage. Engine compartment is clean with no visible leaks at time of inspection. All cab glass intact, interior in good condition, full Hyundai digital instrument monitor, air conditioning, UHF radio with aftermarket handset, and auxiliary hydraulic controls on the joystick. An Attach2 hydraulic quick hitch is fitted (90mm pickup pin, 575 kg coupler weight). Vendor advises a static grab is included. No bucket was attached at time of inspection. Rated lift capacity marked on the boom at 3,611 kg static and 3,186 kg dynamic. Undercarriage runs steel triple-grouser track pads with moderate wear and surface rust consistent with operational use. Track tension and links appear serviceable. Service records visible show a 1,000-hour service completed at 1,392 hours by Heaydon Diesel Services in December 2022. Vendor advises machine has been maintained to schedule.

If the hours confirm, this is an exceptionally low-hour 30-tonner at a price point well below what a new machine costs. New HX300L replacement is approximately $350,000 to $420,000 plus GST.
