Description

Official Royal Australian Mint issue celebrating Australia's Winter Olympic Team at the 2026 Milano Cortina Games. The coin reverse features a dynamic depiction of a freestyle skier in mid-air action with ski poles crossed, incorporating Australia's Olympic colours of green and gold. The Australian Olympic Team logo and Olympic rings appear on the reverse. Inscriptions read "AUSTRALIAN OLYMPIC TEAM / MILANO CORTINA 2026". Struck in aluminium-bronze (AlBr) with uncirculated finish. Mintage is limited to 25,000 pieces, designed by E. Waterford. Presented in the original Royal Australian Mint credit-card-style collector card with snowy alpine imagery, teal and yellow colour scheme, and Australian Olympic Committee logo. The obverse features the standard King Charles III effigy. Coin is in pristine uncirculated condition.
