Description

A novelty collector ingot cast in the iconic silhouette of Ned Kelly's homemade armour helmet, one of the most recognisable symbols in Australian history. The helmet shape faithfully replicates the distinctive flat bucket design with rectangular eye slit cut-out, flared base, and multiple round holes mimicking the rivets and bullet marks of the original armour worn by the Kelly Gang in their final stand at Glenrowan in 1880. The rough-hammered texture on the surface is intentional, evoking the improvised, hand-crafted nature of the original. Vendor advises the piece is gold-plated (999 24K antique gold plated) over a base metal core. Weight is stated as 27.1 grams. Vendor advises limited to 2,500 pieces worldwide. Comes with a black-and-gold Certificate of Authenticity inscribed "UNIQUE NED KELLY HELMET INGOT / Only 2,500 Minted World Wide / MADE IN AUSTRALIA / THE LAST OUTLAW".
