Description

A privately produced commemorative medallion marking the 2022 accession of King Charles III. The obverse features a full-colour printed portrait of Charles III in ceremonial military dress, surrounded by the gold-plated rim with "KING CHARLES III" and "ACCESSION 2022" inscriptions, with decorative fleur-de-lis motifs. The reverse carries a Queen Elizabeth II effigy (fourth portrait, Ian Rank-Broadley) with Latin legend, as used on official British coinage. Presented in uncirculated condition in an acrylic capsule.
