This adventurous expression from Scotland's oldest working distillery on the Isle of Skye features a post-still Caribbean rum cask finish. The whisky presents a rich amber hue and delivers deep caramel aromas balanced by sea salt, dry seaweed, and warm sand notes on a smoky barbecue base. The palate is smooth and hugely rich with sweet characteristics before the classic Talisker heat builds with a dash of salt and chilli pepper to a smoky, peppery, and drying finish. Established 1830.
