This 700mL bottle contains 42.5% alcohol by volume and represents 100% Australian Solera Rye whiskey. The spirit is crafted from unmolted rye sourced from a single farm in the Murray Mallee region of South Australia, one of the world's driest regions. Utilising centuries-old maturation techniques traditionally employed for sherry and port production, this rye spirit undergoes double distillation followed by aging in a bespoke Solera system comprising new American oak, second-fill American oak, and Australian red wine barrels in Melbourne. The resulting expression delivers a sophisticated balance of sweet and savoury notes with tasting profiles of baking spices, plum on the nose, dark toffee, and bright spices on the palate.
