This is a distinctive single malt expression matured in Hungarian oak ex-wine casks, representing a departure from traditional French and American oak maturation. The Hungarian oak (Quercus Petraea) imparts unique characteristics with lower tannin concentration and elevated vanilla notes. Tasting profile features nutmeg, mocha, tropical fruits, dried paw paw, stewed plum, blackcurrant, cinnamon sugar and cedar oak.
