Limited edition bottle commemorating Douglas Hyde's inauguration as President of Ireland on 28th June 1938. This special reserve comprises small batches of 8-year-old single grain whiskey blended with much older, very special reserve single malt Irish whiskey, finished in vintage Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. The whiskey presents a distinctive, full-bodied malty aroma with nutty sweet vanilla and nutmeg notes, offering a perfect balance of creamy, spicy oak tannins with a sweet lingering, smooth, buttery finish. 700ml bottle at 46% alcohol by volume. Product of Ireland, bottled at Inis Eondin, County Cork. Black label with gold embossing and commemorative 1938 dating. Includes responsible drinking guidance and certification markings.
