2006 Penfolds Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz (1.5L Magnum)
Deep garnet with a youthful crimson edge. Aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and dark cherry are layered with spice, mocha and subtle vanilla oak. Full-bodied and generous, delivering rich dark fruit flavours supported by firm, structured tannins and notes of chocolate, liquorice and toasted oak. The Kalimna influence brings depth and intensity, while maintaining balance and approachability. Finishes long, smooth and savoury with lingering spice and fruit sweetness. A classic, bold Barossa-style Shiraz with excellent cellaring potential.
Drinking window: Drinking well now, will continue to develop through 2028–2035.
