This commemorative release pays homage to South Australia’s early colonial heritage, with the Hill family lineage tracing back to 1836. The wine itself is a luxury, cellar-worthy Shiraz designed for long-term maturation, with optimal drinking projected from approximately 2030 onward.

In the glass, it presents a deep ruby to dark maroon hue, indicative of its richness and concentration. The nose is layered and expressive, offering opulent aromas of dark plum, blackberry, and forest fruits, supported by notes of chocolate, coffee, and subtle spice.
