Overview

A statement cocktail ring of genuine visual presence, built around a large 6.38ct elongated cushion-cut kunzite from Afghanistan. The pale purplish-pink stone dominates the head of the ring, its soft lilac-pink body colour shifting to warmer pink flashes under direct light through its pleochroic character. Flanking the kunzite on each side are six baguette-cut diamonds arranged in a stepped, tiered configuration that is unmistakably Art Deco in inspiration, with the geometric channel-set baguettes providing crisp architectural contrast to the soft-toned centre stone. The open-gallery setting beneath the stone features decorative crossed metalwork in the Edwardian tradition. A modern piece executed in Art Deco style.
