Vintage Evinrude V4 outboard from the late 1970s to early 1980s era, produced under Outboard Marine Australia Pty Limited, Bankstown NSW. Selling as-is, non-running. Suited to rebuild, restoration, or parts. Includes original remote control, throttle and shift cables, steering cable, wiring harness, and aluminium propeller.
Motor Details
Evinrude V4 two-stroke. 115HP (81.3 kW) at 5,000 RPM. Operating range 4,500 to 5,500 RPM per BIA certification. White and blue cowling with "EVINRUDE 115" livery. Cowling shows fading and surface wear consistent with age but is structurally intact with no major cracks. The cowling is currently detached and stored separately with the motor.
The powerhead has the cowling removed in storage. Internal inspection reveals significant corrosion on metal components, aged wiring, and general grime accumulation consistent with a motor that has been sitting for an extended period. Carburettors and ignition components are present. The lower unit and midsection appear structurally intact. An aluminium propeller is fitted to the prop shaft and shows surface oxidation but no obvious blade damage from the photos available.
This motor is sold as-is, non-running. No mechanical assessment or compression testing has been conducted by Lloyds. Buyers should conduct their own inspection and assessment prior to bidding. Inspection by appointment at Thomastown VIC.

Inspection strongly recommended.
