The D40 Navara ST-X was Nissan's top specification for the era. The YD25DDTi 2.5-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel, part-time 4WD with high and low range, climate control, cruise control, digital dash, reverse camera, Bluetooth, and alloy wheels were all standard. This one was built in February 2013 and has been progressively kitted out for serious off-road touring over its working life.
The white paint holds reasonable gloss across the main panels with surface rust beginning at the inner wheel arches, side steps, and tow bar components consistent with a working vehicle of this age and kilometres. The colour-matched ARB canopy sits over a custom tray fitout: a storage drawer system, onboard water system with brass tap, deep cycle auxiliary battery with DC-DC charger, a 12V switch panel with Anderson plug connectivity, and LED lighting. A white steel bull bar carries two large round LED driving lights and a Night Hawk LED light bar. A Safari snorkel feeds air from the top of the A-pillar. Tubular side steps and colour-matched fender flares are fitted. Inside, Black Duck canvas seat covers protect the front seats, rubber checker-plate mats are in, and an Icom UHF CB radio with handpiece is mounted to the centre console. An aftermarket EVC boost controller and Redarc electric brake controller are also fitted.
