14ct Rose and White Gold Ethiopian Opal and Diamond Station Pendant Necklace

A luminous and contemporary pendant necklace featuring a large natural Ethiopian opal with a vivid broad-flash play-of-colour in warm golden-yellows and oranges, bezel-set in rose gold within a diamond halo, suspended from a fine rose gold trace chain with six diamond stations that add sparkle across the full length. No crazing was observed on the opal surface.

Opal: 1 pear cabochon cut natural Ethiopian opal, 2.87ct (16.13mm x 7.61mm x 5.14mm), white body tone, semi-translucent to opaque, broad-flash play-of-colour with dominant golden-yellow and orange, secondary green and red flashes. No visible crazing. Bezel set in rose gold.
Opal Type: Ethiopian (Welo), hydrophane type. Please avoid prolonged exposure to liquids, oils and temperature extremes to maintain the stone in its current condition.
Diamonds: 33 round brilliant cut natural diamonds, 0.90ct TDW total (27 approx. 1.65mm bead set in pendant halo; 6 approx. 2.40mm bezel set as chain stations), G-H colour, SI clarity.
Metal: 14ct rose gold and white gold, hallmarked 585. Cast, hand assembled. Total weight 5.77g.
Necklace Style: Fixed pendant necklace. Pear opal in rose gold bezel with white gold diamond halo. Fine rose gold trace chain 51cm in length with six diamond station bezels and lobster claw clasp.
