18ct Yellow Gold Oval Kyanite, Baguette Diamond and Cultured Pearl Drop Earrings - 1.18ct Kyanite, 0.81ct Diamonds, ~16mm Round Pearls



Overview

An unusual and eye-catching pair of drop earrings combining three gemstone elements in a structured design. Each earring has a decorative upper section featuring an oval-cut violet-blue kyanite in a four-claw yellow gold setting, surrounded by a radiating ballerina halo of 27 baguette-cut diamonds (channel set) that fan outward in a sunburst pattern on a wire basket frame. Suspended from the lower edge of each decorated upper section is a round white cultured pearl of approximately 16mm, attached via a yellow gold cup cap and articulated bail.



Kyanite in jewellery-quality violet-blue is an uncommon gemstone choice, typically found in specialist pieces rather than mainstream designs. The baguette diamond halo is an elegant and architecturally precise setting style. The pairing of the violet-blue kyanite with round white pearls is an unconventional but sophisticated combination. Photos confirm very good condition throughout: diamonds are bright and secure, kyanite is intact, pearls display soft rosé/silver overtone with medium lustre and natural surface blemishing consistent with the species.



Crown Jewellery Valuation issued a retail replacement certificate (No. 2739, March 2025) at AUD $10,650, assessed by Ghazal Ghasemi (F.G.A.A., DG, NCJV Registered Valuer No. N683). Closure is post with omega/clip-back, suitable for pierced or unpierced ears.
