A charming ceramic vessel featuring a spherical body with a tapered neck and flared rim with dark wooden collar. The piece showcases hand-painted underglaze decoration depicting a moonlit landscape scene with a gnarled tree silhouetted against a luminous moon, rendered in brown and blue tones on a cream ground. The vessel is equipped with two rope handles fashioned from natural jute fiber, secured with ceramic attachments. A small wooden stopper protrudes from the base. The interior reveals an unglazed, natural clay surface. This rustic, artisanal piece exhibits characteristics consistent with studio pottery or decorative homeware from the mid-20th century.
