Description / Overview:
The Heritage Softail was Harley-Davidson's homage to their own history, and the 1988 FLSTC is one of the most evocative bikes in the range. The Candy Brandy Wine and Pearl White two-tone was one of the most striking colour combinations offered, and this example wears it extremely well. It has been styled to echo the spirit of the 1954 Panhead, with 5-gallon Fat Bob tanks, chrome fender tips, passing lamps, wire-spoke wheels with white-wall tyres, and a studded solo seat. The chrome is uniformly bright across every component on the bike, which is a significant achievement for a 36-year-old machine.
The 1340cc Evolution engine is fitted with an S&S Super carburetor and air cleaner. The Softail chassis gives the bike a hardtail look with the rear suspension units hidden under the frame, creating that clean profile. The Willie G Davidson signature is present on the console, which is correct for Heritage Softail models of this era. The bike presents in excellent cosmetic condition throughout and is ready to ride or display.
