Overview

Ceylon (Sri Lanka) has produced some of the world's most admired sapphires for over two thousand years, and its pink sapphires are among the most sought-after coloured stones in contemporary fine jewellery. The characteristic blossom pink of Ceylon pink sapphires is a distinct shade, softer and more luminous than pink sapphires from other origins, with a transparency and liveliness that makes them photograph beautifully and look genuinely striking in person. At 1.71ct combined, these two pear-cut stones represent a meaningful amount of quality material.



The setting is a bypass design where the rose gold shank splits and curves to bring each diamond-set arm around, terminating in one of the pear sapphires pointing in opposite directions. This toi et moi composition sits dynamically on the finger and pairs the warmth of rose gold with the luminous blossom pink sapphires to striking effect.
