Overview

An ornate antique-inspired ring drawing on Edwardian and Art Deco jewellery traditions. A 1.43ct oval Ceylon sapphire in moderate deep blue sits at the centre in a four-claw basket, surrounded by a scalloped milgrain halo of round brilliant diamonds. Diamond-set shoulders continue the design from halo to shank with milgrain-bordered double rows throughout. The result is a finely detailed ring that reads as genuinely antique at a glance and photographs exceptionally well. The sapphire is heat treated, which is standard commercial practice for Ceylon sapphires and is disclosed accordingly.
