Developed secondary aromas of aniseed, saddle leather, and cedar weave through notes of vanilla and peppery spice, creating a complex and comforting "old school" Penfolds profile. On the palate, it is rich, fleshy, and robust, delivering a powerful core of sweet fruit, dark chocolate, and mocha. The tannins are dense and velvety, building to a sinewy, grippy finish that lingers with nuances of plum and savory spice.
