Here is a legitimate HT Monaro coupe in the desirable Cascade Green factory colour, offered honestly as a running project with significant mechanical work already completed. The body is a genuine Australian-built HT coupe with correct pillarless hardtop profile, confirmed by the "GENERAL MOTORS HOLDENS PTY LTD" chassis plate and firewall stamp. The car reportedly spent approximately 36 years with its first owners, and carries an indicated 82,638 kilometres on the odometer.
The original inline-six has been replaced by a 350 Chevrolet V8 mated to a TH400 automatic transmission, with a floor-shift conversion. The vendor advises extensive suspension and brake work has been completed including new Koni shock absorbers front and rear, King Springs lowered front coils and King leaf springs, new upper and lower ball joints, control arm bushes, sway bar links, brake pads, wheel cylinders, and brake shoes. The engine has been serviced, the carburettor rebuilt, and a custom twin 2.25-inch exhaust system with X-pipe and Triflow muffler fitted.
